How to connect
Here are some different guides/videos of different rover setups:
Connection Details
Note that when you enter the mount point, capitalisation matters; make sure it’s exactly as stated. All mount points use the same message set, with the exception of GURANJD via Direct, which is typically for John Deere.
Usually, you can put hostname instead of IP address. Some machines will only allow IP address. Using hostname is preferred, just in case the IP changes, however.

Calibration & Accuracy
The location of the base station is calibrated using data from both GPS and GLONASS. After 48 hours of logging, the data is submitted to NRCan’s Canadian Spatial Reference System Precise Point Positioning (CSRS-PPP). With a FINAL NRCan/IGS report from the CSRS-PPP service the accuracy of base station’s location is +/- 2 cm. Coordinates from NRCan are converted from ITRF20 to ETRF89.
The standard deviation (95%) for position of the base station is:
Latitude (+N): 2 mm
Longitude (+E): 2 mm
Ellipsoidal Height: 5 mm
The Canadian Spatial Reference System (CSRS) PPP service is provided by Natural Resources Canada’s Canadian Geodetic Survey. It uses single or dual-frequency GPS and GLONASS data for solution computation and supports both Static and Kinematic modes. It uses precise satellite orbit, clock and bias corrections derived from a global network of receivers to determine accurate user positions anywhere on the globe, regardless of proximity to reference stations.
RTK (Real-time kinematic positioning) provides best accuracy enhancements up to about 20 km radius from the base station. Can also be used up to about 50 km radius, but with less accuracy. The typical nominal accuracy for these systems is 1 centimetre ± 1 ppm (parts-per-million) horizontally and vertically.
Example: 1cm + 1mm of error in per 1000 meter distance between the Base station and the Rover
